Yvonne frowns, thinking about what Elsa said. "If they run a whole enterprise, it probably means they have lots of resources and manpower behind them. They could feasibly keep making more of those... things..." Yvonne remembers back to the end of their expedition... the sounds of Ukhu and Telal tearing through the engines... she shudders at the thought. "If just one of them takes our full effort to drive off..."
The king grimaces at the thought. "Those things truly are the stuff of nightmares, but we can't think about that right now. The doctor isn't attacking at this moment, so we have to focus on surviving, and retaking the guild." He looks at the makeshift - but in all fairness, capable - team they make up together. He stops walking for a second. "This is, in the current situation, our lowest ever point. More stands in our way than ever before. We've just came back from a failed mission and a horrible experience, and I'm sure I don't have to remind you of the struggles we now face, and what we just went through."
He straightens the charred emblem on his armor. "We are the guilds last chance. There's no fall back plan. We must win, or all is lost. We will win. Good luck, everyone." He begins to walk again. "The speech is over now, let's get to it." His frown lifts for a moment, giving his best attempt of a smile.

streaking across the night sky is a bright, emerald green glow. A comet. It lights up the sky and leaves a bright trail of the same emerald green that lasts for minutes. Then, there is a large explosion in a nearby forest a few miles from the lair. Smoke rises from the distance.
Amidais looks up from the map on the table in front of him, seeing the streak of emerald slowly fading into the surrounding night. "This day just keeps getting more peculiar, doesn't it?"
"Truly." The Spider king shakes his head, sending out guards to go investigate, telling them to report back so he can check on it if its serious.
"I have a relatively good idea of where to look..." Amidais briefly enters the Consortium, floating up to one of the cabinets and leafing through its contents. He produces a folder from within it, pulling from that a folded piece of parchment. "Aha! I had a feeling it would be there."
He drifts back down to the floor, walks out of the dimensional space, and starts unfolding the parchment onto a table in the Library. "Here we are." The parchment shows a large map of the area surrounding the mountain, with blueprints and planned layouts for the surrounding city: A document from the planning stage of the city's construction.
"Good work, Amidais." The spider king says as he begins to scan over the blueprints. "It may take some time, but I may need you to help me go over the map and mark all possible hiding spots, before we head out to check them." The spider king reaches across to another table to grab a pot of ink and a quill, ready to mark points on the map.
As the Spider King works, the gravity of how much and how little control he has on events in and around the guild comes over him more and more. He takes a breath out, always calculating. "Do you have any form of family here, Amidais? Either in the guild, the kingdom, or somewhere else?"

what the guards find is very strange. In the middle of the forest is a few acres of land burning with emerald green flames, same color as the comet. The flames have burnt everything in around a thousand feet of what they assume is where the comet landed, which formed a 20 foot deep, 50 foot wide crater, at the center of which is a giant (huge sized) sort of stone or rock, shaped slightly like an oval, standing upright. It is tinted slightly green and doesn’t look like a natural sort of rock, if it is rock at all.

Seeing Elsa unaffected, the King wonders. He wouldn't necessarily have expected the magic to effect them, but its good to have proof that even the strongest seems to go unnoticed by Elsanova. Could come in handy later.
The King covers the final few steps to the door, an places his palm and fingers on the imprint. With a sudden glow, the doors shudder, and begin to swing open, revealing a large chamber full of crates, food, bread, medical supplies, and a large pool of clean water. The stone blocks that make up the walls, floor, and domed roof, are etched with hundreds of runes, impenetrable from the inside or out.

*This is super summarised, but the reason there are two kings stems from both the lore and logistical stuff irl. The original trio, the king, queen, and Elsanova, went on a mission after dealing with lots of stuff at the guild. But without them here, there was no one to run the guild and continue the roleplay, as we took the mission stuff to a pm. So a second king was created, through a shift in realities from the repercussions of when the original trio left, to run the guild. There was also a clone of the queen, but that was killed, which is partially what left the cloned king with so much grief, along with the stress of having to rule the guild an kingdom alone in such incredibly hard times, with the doctor and the gape attacking. That's super summarised, but basically, when the trio came back from the mission, the Queen two Kings met, and things didn't go well from there.*

They manage to make it to the rock with some difficulty. It’s smoking a slightly green tinted smoke, and it’s radiating heat. Closer up, the guards realize it’s also slowly shaking, rocking from side to side slightly.
Evil plan: the Rot Grub Hive. Every monster is an undead, filled with a varying amount of swarms of rot grubs (1d4 for Small, 1d6 for Medium, 1d8 for Large, etc.) and the Mother Grub dwells at the bottom, a vessel for Kyuss, using purple worm stats.
