Yvonne quietly advances a bit closer to the door, preparing for whatever happens next. "We need to stay quiet." she whispers to the other two. "They managed to get the Mantis online. No doubt, they're searching for us."
Elsa looks up from the shiny pebble in their hand, and silently draws their sword- ready for the worst.
Roll for stealth! With advantage, because of the walls. The Mantis isn't likely to hear the trio behind the walls as long as they stay quiet (unless they roll really badly for stealth) but it'd be useful to roll now, so we can carry the checks forward, wherever the characters go next.
The kings stealth: 18
*Oh dear, I've been away for a while. Let's remedy that.*
Elsa's Stealth: 20
Yvonne's Stealth: 21
*I also have been absent for extended periods of time, I guess it is just life*
The whole trio seems to be extremely stealthy, minds sharp, their task ahead of them.
Slowly, after one final scan of the area, the mantis retretes back to the kingdom streets, having found no signs of its targets. "That was a little too close- good job noticing that Yvonne."
*sorry for the delay*
Yvonne looks relieved, but still nervous. "We're not out of the woods yet. Odds are, there's more than one roaming the place. We'll need to be careful."
*No worries at all*
"Agreed." The king steps forward, placing a hand on the lever to open the door back to the outside world. "Are we ready to put this plan into action?"
"I'm as ready as I'll ever be." Yvonne prepares to leave, a determined look on her face.
"-Yes, I'm--- ready. Let's bring peace to the Guild--- once and for all." Elsa readies their sword, ready for what lies ahead.

The king nods at the both of them, summoning all his hope and courage. He breathes out, mind and body steady. He pulls down the lever. "Let's get this done then."
The trio step out, back into the building, the kingdoms pride and joy, the surface. Their stealth was good before, and it seems to be staying that way- at least for now. Knowing they need to get back to the guild unnoticed, the king whispers as he moves forward. "The robot, that you heard before- what's the best way for us to make sure we don't encounter one, Yvonne? Our best chance at noticing one before it notices us?"

Yvonne, knowing the Mantis can climb and scanning the ceilings for any latent ambush, responds in a hushed tone. "The Mantis are more suited for scouting than assassin work, so they don't have any special senses beyond darkvision and keen hearing. Invisibility is a good start, but whatever route we take, we need to do so quietly. They're good at tracking- if we get spotted, it'll be hard to slip away."
Elsa looks around the room, thinking. "-Does this kingdom have a sewer? It--- would be unpleasant, but we could--- evade detection easier underground."

A small colony of robotic spiders travel the halls of the guild, before climbing on a deactivated robot with the horns of a tiefling. It is about 7 feet tall, but is currently sitting back to wall.
*I know I'm intro-ing him literally everywhere, but Barbeau's ship is basically a giant mechanical spider, which would be so perfect for this...*
As Barbeau's ship gets closer and closer to the guild HQ, he can see a seemingly dead, or sleeping, robot with the horns of a tiefling laying at the entrance. Surrounding and climbing it is multiple colonies of similarly robotic spiders, and he can see more making their way towards them.
*It's totally fine to have the same character in multiple taverns. Allows for more interactions with them.*

*Awesome. I'll give a description of the ship:*
The Gut is a famous destination, a submarine/cruise ship the size of a small city, using a shard of The Abyss as a power source. Most don't know that it can walk. Its lumpy, surreal, upside-down-teardrop-shaped mass is equipped with many spotlights and spider-like legs, all placed in seemingly random locations. The Gut also has many ports through which it can lower many things, from fishing nets to trapped cages. The exhaust coming from the engine is pure water vapor, enough to cause a storm to constantly follow the vessel wherever it goes.
It approaches the Spider Guild, and on top of it is the legendary Chef Barbeau, the current owner and Demonic Lord of The Gut. The cambion looks entirely human on the surface level, but his stiff body language, emotionless voice, and dead, dark eyes make him seem more like a shark than a passionate master chef. He wields no umbrella, simply letting the rain pound on his clothes and generically handsome face.
The Gut slows to a halt before the gates, seeing the mechanical tiefling. The Chef climbs down a wonky ladder, ready with smith's tools in case his old family trade could help the robot.

The spiders immediately swarm into a defensive barrier around the robot, before freezing as if getting a message and parting to let you through. The tiefling robot doesn't seem to have massive damage, a few scratches here and there, but on its shoulder is a hole in the shape of a digon. It seems something was forcefully removed.

The Chef looks close. "Hmm..." He takes off a glove, revealing a gray, cold, skinny claw. He places it in the hole, attempting to replace the part with Abyssal Ice. It won't melt, but it isn't any stronger than regular ice. If the part is purely mechanical, it should work properly until a replacement can be procured. In addition, it will apply some Abyssal power to the machine. Not a lot, but it can work as a kick-start.

He can hear the sounds of whirring machinery before it goes silent. The eyes of the machine open and instinctively reach towards the shoulder. They turn their head to you and focus their eyes. "The abyssal energy in this ice is enough to keep certain functions active, but I require my original power source to gain 100 percent motor function. A silver-tailed falcon took it believing it to be an egg. I know of it's current location thanks to my smaller eyes (eyes swirve down for a second to observe the spiders). Will you please retrieve it?" The voice lacks of any emotion beyond what seems to be extremely mild panic.
