Some of the festival-goers are noticing a strange phenomenon. Those who ate an apple from the corrupted tree are slightly pale (unnoticeable by most), and most organic matter they touch slightly shrivels... including other festival-goers, who are afflicted with a similar condition upon coming into contact with the plague. While the fanatic determines the greater restoration did, in fact, work (I'd call Dominition's plague a curse) those who ate from it while it was corrupted are sick with a plague, only contractible by plants. The fanatic does not know who was infected, leading to much worry.
*From Arch*
At first, the Herionidians don’t notice much. But when it spreads? Mass panic. This entire cult is based off of feasts, and considering their feasts are of honey, fruits, and meats, the word spreads more quickly than the plague.
a sign from Dead Herionidus?
a curse from the terrible Demon Locust?
something worse? They all wonder. The party is over within the hour and people are avoiding each other. Anyone who seems to be cursed are treated by the fanatics, of which there are about 50 in this cult, who use greater restoration to try and cure them.
The greater restoration works... partly. The infected Herionidians are cured of the curse, but the infected matter is not. The plague, however, appears to be contained to within this part of the valley, due to its reliance on spreading through vegetable matter, and being stuck in a clearing. But someone will make a mistake, and it will grow...
He sips his wine before saying “The greatest in the world, but that was just a side job. It makes sense I was the best, when you can launch someone around the planet with one punch, you are considered quite strong.”
“Thats so cool.” She whispers, before leaning closer a bit. “We’re you like a superhero assassin that took down bad guys, or were you like the super flashy villain who made good guys fear crossing you?” He asks, still very much a young teen in mindset with his questions.
“I would say I’m a little bit of both, it really depending on how I feeling that day. Sometimes I was a villain no one could stop, other times bad people would just disappear.” He says, laughing to himself a little bit “The only people stronger than me could stop time and were the actual most powerful being in existence.”
“You fought against someone who can stop time, that sounds like it would be impossible.” Danny says. “Who else have you fought with, did any have any cool powers like us?”
“Someone who could literally control the reality around them. The only reason I beat them is because their own power is their only weakness. They stayed awake too long and died as a result.”
“Woah, that’s wild. So they could be awake for a long time because of the overexertion?” Phantom asks curiously.
“Exactly, the weight of their own immense power was their only real downfall. If they didn’t have that weakness I’m not sure I could’ve beaten them.”
Sarah is back to building in their steadily growing temple in the sky. Spires and bridges extend downwards from the underside of the citadel's floating foundation, as well as the addition of several large docks for their flying stone temple and any other similar vehicles they make.
Orchid has finally, finally made all of the Amber Elixirs they need to further their plan. Corpse flowers and shambling mounds carry several crates each to the location the Will of Alchemy has found- a promising-looking plains along the River of Herionidus. In their hands is a small sapling- the start of an expansion to their idol's domain.

Hi! I'm EJO. I am a silly billy who forgets to play Genshin Impact every day and totally DOESN'T simp for at least three different ninja girls. Some other facts about me:
Milio has been ditched. Now Xerath is my friend.
My average accuracy in Marvel Rivals is about 15%.
Cogintius is studying what he knows about the Old World for a future book. His avatars are out in the world.
The void is watching. (I know, it's so varying in its actions)
The tree has grown a small forest around it at a much higher rate then a forest would normally take to grow. Some mortals have begun praising it, despite it not being sentient, and they make no shelter themselves so as not to disturb the forest.

Hello! I am a perfectly sane gibberer. Hi! :D

<Not sure who Mushisama is but sounds cool so sure.>
*Mushisama is my demon here (lore wise previously a god). He is like a spirit but he possesses invertebrate to do his bidding and give himself a body. His afterlife and domain is at the center of the Earth, connected to the surface by large holes surrounded by a red goo, which decay all those who touch it. It’s kind of like the 9 layers of hell, but imagine a ball within a ball. The first balls surface is the planets surface, while the surface of the ball within it is the 1st layer (connected to gluttony, those in it must farm food they cannot eat and can never stop). I’m going to pause there to make sure you guys are following.*

*as a side note, this is an afterlife for people who weren’t inherently bad, but still performed these sins.*
*good. The second layer represents greed. There is always some form of deadly and painful competition that is usually rigged for no winner, where the souls here have to participate. Third layer represents wrath. Here the souls are forced to kill bugs that, upon death, become ten of themselves. Fourth is sloth, where souls run from large carnivorous bugs for eternity. 5th is lust (I don’t have an idea for this one). 6th layer is for the prideful. They think they are the closest to the center, but every second they hear a voice telling them their flaws endlessly. Final layer (or more center of the last ball) is envy. All the souls are chained to the walls as they are starved and witness insects eat bueatiful food placed before them.
<Lust could be similar to envy. Maybe like that one guy in the Greek myths who stands in a pool and can never eat but always wants it. Obviously, there are other ways to embody lust, but those are... let's just say not PG-13>

*right. For now I’m just going to leave it as an endless void. Thoughts?*

The wiki says the souls there were pushed around by extremely strong winds. The city thing came later I believe.
