Haha, this is all part of the arch cultist's plan! The rules only specified 'the highest number on a die'. It never said what kind of die it had to be, or that they had to be the same die on both sides. The arch cultist takes out a d999, shakes it in his hands a lot while uttering thanks to Jeff, and dramatically casts it across the table. It bounces all the way across the table,
then onto the floor,
then into a crack in the floor that somehow makes it fall from a hole in the ceiling,
then back into the floor, but the momentum causes it to bounce
onto the table again,
then finally stopping.
After getting a magnifying glass, it can be observed that the die landed on a 50.
(I mean a 5 is a low roll so probably would have won anyways with a d20, but let me have this)

Well, I might not be allied with Jeff, but I think I see a cult in need of aid.
I pose the (apparently sentient) nuke a question: By what was our universe created? Energy, cascading into itself with tremendous force, enough to create atoms for the only time in history? A being, although the idea can seem rather far-fetched, with all the gods circulating?
I then ask it another question: What created that thing? And so on?
Nothing can exist for an infinity; all things deteriorate, from biological and artificial systems to the universe's energy through entropy. Thus, as there is no way for anything to simply 'have been there', nothing exists.
Thus, none of this exists---the cult, me writing this post, the effect, but the nuke doesn't either. I then teleport the cult and its members to another, alternate, noninteracting universe in which the universe was formed by an external deity that came to this universe long ago, in which the nuke doesn't exist.
