Yup and he doesn’t want to keep a secret from my mom which I GET but also his argument is that my mom will also be supportive but i just don’t want to tell her

That’s fair. I’m glad your dad supports you. Is your problem your mom knowing in general, or you telling her?

I just don’t want to tell her because then i have to have the whole conversation about we’ll love and support you again.

Have your dad tell her. Make sure he explains that you already had that conversation and you really don’t want to do it again. That’s what I would do if I was in your situation
