Welcome to the Dead Thread's Inn, a RP tavern to discuss all things dead threads! If you had a character in a thread that died that you want to keep playing, here's your opportunity, or if you're in the mood for a bit of Thread Necromancy (don't tell the landlord) you can discuss threads that have died and maybe get a group together to bring them back! I'll also play other Inn staff, but if you're interested in being a mod or want to play one of those characters, let me know!

A man enters. Well, it looked a little like a man. He seems to be made out of mud, with gold coins for his eyes and sticks coming out of his chest. The mud, leaves, and sticks that make up his body are shaped into heavy gloves, boots, an apron, rolled-up sleeves, and a tie. He carries a pistol at his side, which seems to be real.
Snap looks at him from over the counter and says 'Welcome! Our first customer of the day! Make sure to wipe your feet at the door, and your hands, and your legs, and your...actually never mind' He straightens up and says 'Can I get you anything? Pond water perhaps?' He somehow grins at his joke despite having no lips and says 'I'm only kidding, who are you and where have you came from? I'd love to hear your story!'
A man enter, he looks like he lived in the 1990s, he's a 18 year old black man. His hair is long and braided together, he is wearing regular clothes for the time, a strange thing about him.
A Yuan-ti with an antimatter rifle is walking into the place, he's wearing goggles, he has messy hair, he doesn't hide his snake-like features, he is wearing regular forge attire and is just chilling.

"A whaling city. Balezot. I grew up from the memories of a dead man in the cursed swamps that surrounded that horrible place. But I guess any place is cursed if you trap God in a giant torture machine."
Snapclaps his bony little hands together and says 'What a turnout! Let me get you fellas a seat and a drink, trust me, it's gonna be a long night! Tell me all about yourselves, where you been, who've you met?' He then pokes his head around the back of the bar and calls 'CROLIN! CROLIN! CRACK OUT THE CHISEL, WE'VE GOT CUSTOMERS!', to which you only hear a deep and guttural 'mmmmurrrghhh' in reply.
Both people sit at separate tables, the Yuan-ti begins to take apart his antimatter rifle. The 1990s kid just sits at a table and begins to play cards.

Well, not really if there was a god in a torture machine and cursed swamps, y'know, that doesn't sound like it would attract many holiday makers or potential home owners,' He grins and says 'Nah, I'm only messing with ya, your place sounds great, sorry you have to be here.'

In my afterlife, I championed Ab-dead rights and took control of the Asylum Ward of Balezot, sinking into the swamps as it was. Wait." He pulls out some platinum pieces from the trash in his chest. "I should introduce myself. The Shadow of Saint Grouper. I want some Dredge. Mashed up monster guts. Black, oozing, offal. Ground into paste and watered down with oil."
Snap listens intently to the Shadow of Saint Grouper's backstory. He thinks to himself that it seems so developed, and how it's such a shame his home thread had to die. Hopefully he can find some solace in this tavern at least. As he finishes up his order, Snap gets to preparing it. He ducks below the counter and rifles through hundreds of draws before finding one filled with blackened entrails from some form of beast. He calls up 'I dunno how long this has been sat here, but I bet that'll add to your enjoyment!' He then chucks it into an oddly out of place blender and mushes it down into a fine paste, shouting 'I would use a mortar and pestle but I ain't got the muscles for it!' over the loud electric buzzing of the machine. He then pours out the slop, and covers it in oil, dolloping it on in great lashings. He then hands over the Dredge and says 'Hope that's to your likings!'

The Shadow sips it and sighs. "Dark Below, this tastes like home. I've got a lot to talk about and a lot of money in my body. I'm guessing I was reborn from the muck around the old Balezot Treasury or something. Have you ever heard of The Abyss? Not the plane, but the person. He hung around Balezot a lot. He was a trinity: The Neighbor, The Magus, and The Beast. Looked like a skinny guy in a ragged blue coat. Spiral mask. You'll probably see him around here sometime. Anyway, he's the embodiment of the Dark, the force that allowed me to rise and cursed the swamps. He used to make Dredge like this. He would trade the Moondowners, these hunter guys, magic items in trade for the mashed-up parts of the monsters they killed. He had vending machines and everything. He's scary though. All three forms bring out the worst in people. The Neighbor helps those desperate for assistance, and while he makes their lives better, he also leads them to sin. The Magus helps those desperate for power, giving them immense magical strength with no oversight. The Beast helps those desperate for escape, offering them freedom from their circumstances if they'll do something for it."

Snapshakes his skull and says 'Can't say I've heard of him but if he's heading this way, I'll charge him extra. Sounds like he caused a lot of people grief. If you don't mind explaining, how could he be those three people at once? Was it like a multiple personality thing? I met a pink haired guy once who said he had multiple personalities once, but he couldn't tell me anymore before he fell down the stairs and his body disappeared. That was a weird day.'

"I'm not sure. Being the literal Devil from the Bible probably has something to do with it." He takes another slug of the Dredge.
If Snap's non-existent eyes could widen, they would. 'Ah. Yeah, that probably does have something to do with it.' He then calls over to the human and Yuan-Ti at the separate tables. 'Hello? Would you like to order anything?'
The door opens as a man with grey skin walks in. He has no facial features except for a mouth and short black hair that is swept back. He wears a lab coat and black slacks. He looks grumpy, talking to a talk woman who stays close to his side. The woman's face, skin, and all of her body is burnt charcoal black, her eyes a stark contrast to it being a beautiful blue color. She wears an early 1900's dress that is a contrast to her burnt skin.
"Mother, I swear.. you don't need to go where I go.." the man grumbles, rubbing his temples.
"Mezzoni, dear, you can be rather rude to others if I'm not there.." she responds.
