Hello everybody! After disappearing for another few weeks off Off-Topic, I am back with another great thread! It is similar to my (now-ironically-dying) open roleplay thread, Anything Ghosts, except I have refined the formula so the possibilities are just as broad, yet have much more structure to them. It is called the Pantheon, and you have the choice of playing as a deity, demi-god or mortal, each of which come with their own potential skillsets and abilities, which are super customisable and incredible easy to create whatever character you want with!
I'm looking for some mods in case the thread goes well and I disappear again, so if you check the thread out, like what you see, and think you would like to help keep it going, please just let me know and I can add you to the mod list! Any views or players will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I’d love to be a mod! Considering I was the maker of the universe canvas and a mod for the smorgasbord, I have experience with these types of threads. One question though, how does the world start out as? Is it barren, or is it full of civilization already? Somewhere in between?
Awesome, I'll get you added to the mod list! Setting is an excellent question, and really I'm happy for it to naturally be developed by the players. With Anything Ghosts in particular, a whole city setting sprung up really easily around the characters, and whilst this is a little bit more of a larger scale, I think after very few posts, there will be a general vibe for the place which will only diversify and develop further as the thread continues. Also, not to sound cynical, but I imagine the setting might be drastically changed and adapted a few times, considering the characters and potential power levels!
Alright! One more tiny question, I’m assuming gods are immortal as in they can’t die of old age and stuff, but are they vulnerable to being killed, even by mortals. Just asking because that can drastically change how people play gods.
also, i think I’ll be playing a god of hospitality and winter treats.

Of course, it would be a challenge, but if a mortal is cunning and smart enough about it, it can be done. Likewise, if a deity descends to the mortal world, they are just as, if not more, susceptible to mortal attacks! And, of course, deities can kill deities, in which place the slain deities best worshipper or strongest demi-god ascends to their place!

I went to the library and got three graphic novels and a book I already own on accident. My mom made me leave before I could get more. I already finished the graphic novels.and my neighbors came over to help make lefse with us but their kid wore dark clothing to roll the lefse (rookie mistake) so he ended up with flour on his shirt. Idk then we went and played Mario kart and my brother used a shell on my neighbor at the last second and would have won if he hadn’t then proceeded to drive straight into the lava on accident. We also ended up playing 200 cc only blue shells which was very goofy.

Ah Christmas Eve, a day no one would care about if it wasn’t the eve of the third most questionably manipulated holiday. I hope you all are going well, I haven’t almost died since… like last week, so I’m doin’ good, though it appears my thread has died.
Hey jester. Sorry to hear about the thread. ‘Our Christmas road trip took a bit of an unexpected turn when I had to go to an er in New Mexico. I’m fine now and have arrived with family. I hope everyone has a nice warm Christmas full of love and light.
