Dwelling deep in the crumpled ruins of the Last Structure resides an metal workshop where various scraps of metal, wiring, and other materials are collected by the old Animus that resides there. They have gone by many names, Forge Master, Sawblade, Scrap Render, Fire Eater, Mender. Regardless of title, this massive serpentine machine is a sight to behold. Metal scales interlock over a complex structure of gears, wires, moters, hydraulics, and other marvels of mechanical engineering that allow the serpent a fluid range of motion, their seemingly smooth body hiding various sections that can open up to reveal all manner of tools that are used in their work, and for their defense. The serpent is currently working on a half finished mech, still just a skeleton like frame.
Spinner ambles by the Last Structure and sees movement inside. His mouth opens up in a crude smile to reveal a wide array of jagged teeth, perfect for tearing metal. Beyond that, mechanisms for fire, repulsors, and everything in between. He strolls inside casually, not knowing what to expect (other than prey).
They hear the sounds of something drilling and hammering deeper within as the temperature of the area gets hotter and hotter. At some point, the would see a part of a large scaled body draped across the ground, quite large in scale. *They are a big snek*
His eyes, or rather, slits, slightly widen in surprise, then quickly return to their original state. He continues walking forward, albeit cautiously, searching for the front of the serpentine creature.
They would soon find themselves in a huge chamber filled with scrap and materials, a few large forges, and several workbenches. Spinner sees the large stretched out form of a mechanical snake that seems to be looking down at one of the workbenches. They watch as the section of neck directly below the head seems to widen out into a bladed hood before it starts spinning like a sawblade to cut of some metal from something on the workbench, before the serpent's tail grabs something and flings it off and into a pile of scrap metal.
Spinner, worried now, tries backing away, only to bump into a pile of scrap, which crashes to the ground, making a sound similar to a trash compactor and the T. Rex roar from Jurassic Park combined. He stares back at the massive head, expecting the worse.
The serpent's head whips around with frightening speed and fluidity. "So, it seems I have a guest in my lair" The serpent speaks in a feminine sounding voice, calm with a hint of menace. "And what would bring you here to my domain, my unfamiliar Animus."

The creators created my blueprints themselves, though whether they themselves made me or another Animus did, I can not say. Even with my advance design, only so much memory can be stored and upgrading my memory banks is a tedious and resource heavy process. Sometimes, I need to purge some data. If not, it would be best if you leave me to my work"
Myria is ambling about the ruined streets, searching for whatever few bits of lingering electricity there may be in broken machines.
Myria comes across a large eight-legged Animus, dragging a dog-like Animus behind it.
It watches from a distance for a while, before it approaches enough to be clearly seen. Though, long before the eight-legged machine can even see it, it can hear the distinctive tik-tik-tiking of Myria's numerous legs.
Two of the spider's searchlight-like eyes turn to face Myria as soon as it hears the legs. They let out beams of ultraviolet light, to see their target before it sees them.
*Fun fact, most spiders only see from the green to purple range of the visible spectrum, although they can see ultraviolet light. Jumping spiders, however, can see all visible light colors as well*
