Not much of it is visible, the majority of whatever this is embedded within the stone of the mountain, but the faint bit where the pick struck is visible in a gap between two larger stones. A faint shimmer of what looks to be silver- not silver ore, but a piece of processed, refined silver- though where the pickax struck, there is bronze, as if the silver was just a thin coating around.... whatever this is.
She gives orders for it to be excavated with extreme caution and care. As they remove it from the mountains grip she stands close by and watches the whole procedure.
It takes several hours, but after that time, the relic is about halfway out of the stone- and it's an odd relic indeed. What looks like a misshapen suit of silver-and-bronze armor, standing at about eight feet tall, its insides packed with dried clay. The statue-like artifact has no discernable head- only a bronze dome that connects to the top of its body. On its chest, and on each of its three-fingered gauntlets, is a crest- Two golden wyverns, with the arcs of their tails and heads forming a ring-like shape.
Bajir has some workers carry it off to a new building near her tent. She gathers together a few historians and scientists and has them take extensive notes, measurements, and sketches all through the rest of the day and night. Early the next morning she carts it off to New Maliketh, as according to the agreement. She sends copies of the notes over to the Tayr.
the interpreter asks if they can repeat themselves
He says something again earnestly but it is a Hoebite word you don't recognize. A sound rolls over the hill. A great, deep, booming roar that is bellowed out of lungs that pump air for a beast made of many tons of meat, bones, and strength. One servant runs up the hill to look over its edge and several of the horses start to paw at the ground but nobody else responds to it. The man continues to offer you the flask.
Uralll takes the flask gingerly and takes a drink before handing it back to the man. he reaches for his spear
For you, the flask is only a small swig, but it burns like venom. Your tongue is scalded and it sears its way down your throat, relishing the pain it causes you. It hits your brain like a hammer blow and even manages to burn up to your nose and fill it with a blazing sensation. The initial shock of this is just pain and hurt but once it settles in your stomach it feels like a warming bonfire that hardens your bones and fills your limbs with strength and energy. You are awake now, perhaps more than you've ever been.
The other men watch as you drink and laugh at your expressions. Then, the giant form of Tayr Siyef appears over the edge of hill at a run. He shouts something at his men and most of them quickly mount their horses and race up and over the hill. A few others bring a horse to the Tayr as well as a spear and a flask.
"Friend Uralll! I'm glad you are here. I've found quite the specimen to tackle today. You will soon see and participate in a sacred tradition of my people. It is a hunt, but it is also a story, a picture of a Tayr and how he should rule his kingdom." His expression is bright and eager and full of energy.
Uralll breaks into a grin, baring his teeth and tusks, takes his spear, and takes off running towards the hill
The Tayr meets him at the top, "Wait my friend. Steady your hand. There is a way this thing is done. Watch." Many of the other nobles and hunters rush at what can only be the bisonboar. The mountainous monster pounds the ground with earthquaking hooves sending huge clods of stone and dirt flying into the air. Huge rolling shoulders steam with sweat and flex with rivers of boiling muscle that supports a huge head of knotted horns and tusks. Its snout is covered in spikes like a rhinoceros, its mouth is crammed full of yellow tusks, and from its brow and head protrude countless branches of pointed horns. Amid this outcropping of bone and keratin you see two small black eyes that shine with blazing rage. The hunters and nobles launch their spears and javelins at the beasts sides and haunches. The darts lodge in the beasts hide and stir up its fury to an even greater degree.
"We, sir, are the kings. They are our soldiers. We command them to go and to hunt, and they do so." The bisonboar makes a rush at one of the riders and sinks its horns into the horse, knocking the rider to the earth. "They spend their lives for us. And why?" He smiles and watches the bloody scene below. "Because we shall slay the monster."

She gathers together a few historians and scientists and has them take extensive notes, measurements, and sketches all through the rest of the day and night. Early the next morning she carts it off to New Mehriketh, as according to the agreement. She sends copies of the notes over to the Tayr.
The remaining people from the New Gladereach caravan seem absolutely in awe of the statue, assisting in carting it back to the Grand Architect with the utmost care, as if the strange monument were made of glass and paper rather than metal and clay. The historians cannot identify the crests the artifact bears on its armor plating, though they can identify one thing- there are faint magical runes along the edges of the silver plates and its bronze domed helm. It seems almost impossibly well-preserved, having suffered virtually no erosion or natural decay of any kind.
