Deep in the mountains, a strange set of pilgrims have popped up, creating a town hewn of stone seemingly overnight. On top of a frozen plateau it lies- though the center isn't as frigid as the rest. Froths of flowing steam rise from a hot spring, around which the settlement of Umbrethe has been erected. Flowing under one of the two grand castles, the spring waters form a stream leading to a far off waterfall off the plateau. These waters, known as Temprunfoss, start off still steaming at the top, but cool as they fall, reaching their surrounding's hypothermic temperatures by the bottom of the falls. Near the edge of the springs, public baths have been created, redirecting some of the spring's natural flow. After going through the baths, the water irrigates the two large farmlands of the town, growing a large amount of providing produce. People of seemingly all sorts wander the town- Though this is mainly an accidental deception. Kalashtar, changeling and green-skinned alien-like humanoids with extremely small noses and longer, pointed ears make up nearly the full population, the former two looking like many other kinds of humanoids. Markets in the town are run by these odd psionic proprietors, selling their produce along with many odd medicines, cures, and allegedly psionically charged talismans and foci. Outside the town, near the edge of the plateau, one of the green men, around 5'6", stands as he looks over the other settlements visible from this height. A black eyepatch with a moth symbol is over his right socket, and a moon tattoo goes around his remaining eye. His long hair has been put into a ponytail, blowing in the cold wind, as snowflakes speckle it. With a simple whisper, he gives his announcement to his people, himself, and the others of the continent "We have arrived."
