The guards do as instructed, the ones who ride the dinosaurs seeming amazed and a bit bewildered. The most exotic creature they’ve seen is a cockatrice born from a chicken egg, and these feathered… reptiles? Are nothing like they’ve seen before.
”Tell me about Rhagoan.” Says the Ambassador.
The initial climb is steep, though the animals are surefooted, taking to the rocks with ease. The robot keeps its face looking ahead, but beeps in acknowledgment. “It’s only been recently that we’ve been able to form a concrete settlement. Our people have been here for years, but thanks to our madjai Khassandh, we were able to stabilize an area of land long enough to build on. The region here, outside of the mountain pass, shifts and changes in a series of constant earthquakes and restructurings. There’s barely any plant life, and most things here seem very much happy to kill and eat us. But, we’ve survived nonetheless!” It beeps happily. “And we’ve recently decided to reach out to the outside world to see what we can provide.”

If you don’t know where I am, I’m either sleeping or roleplaying. If I’m doing neither of those things, except the worst. (Do not actually expect the worst) If you need to talk then PM me. Head Acolyte of The Tree Cult.
Lady Bouclaire and the Lauriers are making decisions regarding other settlements along the Tsaritsa river (which seems to be an important river for many civilizations) and decides that since the previous ruler, Lord Gregory, had little relations outside the town, they were to send an ambassador up the river and down the river, along with a handful of guards each, to make contact with other lands.
*Yeah a lot lol*
A large leader of a new settlement wanders around the river, staring at the water
A young man drifts by him, on a large rowboat. He has six spear-wielding guards with him. He wears fine clothes, often worn by older, feudalistic nobles, but with a strange symbol stitched over his heart: an Oleander. He waves, docking at the bank and steering his boat to shore.
”why, hello, kind Sir!”
The large fey? waves to them "Hello"
“You wouldn’t happen to know where the nearest town is, would you? Our village recently had a bit of a revolution, and we’re seeking to meet with our neighbors. Our previous ruler wasn’t exactly the best at that…”
"Don't know, but know where mine is" They point away
“How wonderful!” He says cheerfully. “We’re on official business, so we’ll be talking to whoever is in charge. What do you call your settlement?”
Bonde has left the settlement, eager to meet new people of new colonies.
They run into a rather confused looking reindeer centaur, his hands holding an upsidown map. He looks severely out of place, dressed for a blizzard almost with thick woolen wraps and a headscarf that covers the lower half of his face. Long beaded braids run down his back as he paces in a circle on the grass.

“Wonderful. Now, as you likely know, we’re a relatively new nation, so we don’t have much to offer you as of now, unless you want fish. We do have a surplus of fish if that’s what you want.”
“Do you have any crops or herbs by any chance? We’re very short on plants of any kind.” They sigh softly.
Paracelsus speaks up “We have wheat, barley, and are in the process of growing corn.”
Octavio looks at Paracelsus, slightly surprised “He’s right. Not completely sure how he knew that. But he is correct. Will such crops be sufficient? Do note that we cannot supply you with much, as we too must feed our people.”

“The Tsaritsa! Yes! I know of that one. It is one of the ways we found some of the other settlements.” The robot beeps happily. “Our town is looking to enter more trade agreements to get the supplies we need. Crops and such are rare here, though we have many metals and excellent livestock.”
Snow has begun to fall in small flakes, gathering on the hair and eyelashes. The wind has picked up slightly, just enough to make it chilly.

If there was a currency in this game what would it be called?
I think it depends on the settlement

*Why is there a rule that the lower class has to be at least modest to make a new settlement*

*because the settlement sending out new settlers would need to be wealthy enough to fund the expedition!*
Is there anything Fernand can do?
Lightning flashes, it creates ash. The ash forms a human.

*well, for now I’d just be calling it gold, but I think if leaders decided to, they could definitely mint their own currencies.*
