I've been meaning to post in this thread for ages, so here we are and oh, this could be kinda long! 😊
A "few" years ago (ahem) a tabletop roleplay game called TORG was released. It's one of my favourite roleplay games ever - such a cool setting.
This was just as the internet was starting to exist and I needed a username and took inspiration from TORG.
In TORG, all of the player characters are "Storm Knights" - ordinary people who underwent a moment of crisis, where they put themselves at extreme risk to help another person in need, and avert fate. This fills them with possibility energy, allowing them to take their version of reality with them, as they travel through different cosms. They are literally able to accomplish feats that violate the rules of the reality they are in, such as throwing a fireball spell in a science-based reality that has disproved the existence of magic. Regardless of background, they are heroes.
Of the various Storm Knights in the story of TORG, Lady Tolwyn (arguably the first Storm Knight) was my favourite. Never afraid to challenge oppression and tyranny, she never backed down from doing what was right. She was strong yet kind.
This spoke to me and I love the idea of being able to take my own type of magic with me to help others achieve things they don't think is possible.
To me, my username represents never being afraid to challenge when something is wrong, being kind yet able to battle fiercely for what I believe in, being able to achieve the impossible.

So, that's why I am Stormknight.
Omg I love Torg! I never played the original game but I love Torg Eternity. Tolwyn is so cool.
Glimpse came from a character I made for the Alpha of Lord of the Rings Online. Our kinship needed a burglar, and since I usually play rogues or rogue-type characters, and I love to play stealthy in games, so much so that I beat Dishonored without killing a single person, the name worked.

My codename comes from two places: one, I do D&D, and I've always done 5th edition; and two, I am the cunning type of DM (and PC for that matter), and it was also the name of my first 5e character, Shadow Warrior (variant/wood elf evocation wizard 4/fighter 1. Don't ask about the variant/wood elf part. I really don't know.) Combine the two, and you have:
DnDShadow5e

I was watching a cartoon and the episode was about a guy who change his name to Trashboat and got famous because it was stupid and stole the fame of another guy who change his name to The Urge. they fight. but at the very end a ton of other guys show up who also changed their name and my Favorite one was CrocodileDeathspeed.

My name should be changed to Thauraeln_The_Bold in a few hours... He's the first (and only) dragon king in my homebrew setting, and he's argueably the most powerful dragon ever to have lived. He's still well known in the present day, some 2955 years after his death. Only the dragons and giants really remember that much about him, but most humanoids know him as the creator of the Dragonhelm of Thauraeln the Bold, an artifact of titanic power.

My name, InsertDragonbornNameHere, came from the fact I have recently created a dragonborn druid named Kathyra Gempir. I wanted to make a better name but the campaign wasn't set up for that to be okay. Plus the fact that I have a weird sense of humor and that I will try most things to get a laugh determined it all, and my screen name was born.

Very few people get my multi-lingual bad puns. At least you got it!
