But if you can't see me, how do you know where to blast? It's not like you can hear me from 2 miles away. Again, no chance in hell I want to fight from 2 miles away.
I know that it doesn't hide you, but it is very useful when fighting the sorcerer with a distant Meteor Swarm. Or the sorlock with a distant eldritch (spear) blast.
Congratulations, once a day you can replicate subtle spell. I can do that 22 times a day.
If your timing is correct, then you only need it once. And I wasn't even suggesting that I take Metamagic Adept. Anyway, I'm finishing up a few little details, but I am fairly sure I have a wizard that can beat your sorcerer.
Are you a fighter first, or a wizard first? I'm assuming that you didn't overlook major flaw in your build (proficiency required for armor) and go wizard first.
Now I don't have to choose between distant and subtle spell. I can use both!

Please ignore my old homebrew, and for the love of every god out there don't use it.
I (used to, it's kinda dead now) participate in the Level 20 Gladiator Arena with a nameless hero (actually I think I deleted him, whoops).
I no longer care. I have plans.
Chilling kinda vibe.
Good job, I can Meteor Swarm you before you even see me (two mile range).

2 mile range, and you plan to work out where to blast how? Invisibility is a spell.
Chilling kinda vibe.
Although I'm not actually planning to blast you from two miles away, invisibility just lets you hide, not hides you.

I know, I'm just pointing out how invisibility interacts with hiding.

That's fair, but I only get one Meteor Swarm anyways.
The EB thing is valid though.

And that is why I like the Tome of the Stilled Tongue. You can get a subtle quickened casting of meteor swarm that doesn't use a spell slot. Fun!

Just adding equipment. Who're you fighting with?

I'll add my sheet once I've finished equipment.
