I'd see what MusicScout has to say to that. I can't say I'm in favour or against. I'm ok how it is now but I can see that there is a chance that the thread might revive if the odds weren't so bad.

Hmmm.  I'll have to think about the consequences of the proposed change.  I'll run a few numbers to see when we might see 2 rolls, 3 rolls, 4 rolls, etc.

But, not so long ago I noticed another 31 in this challenge.

4d8 = 7 + 1 + 7 + 7 =  22

Rollin' a 32 ... 4d8 = 3 + 2 + 6 + 4 = 15  

4d8 = 8 + 6 + 5 + 2 =  21

I hear you. It might get messy policing people if rules get to complex. I just know 4d10nis 1 in 10k and 4d12 is 1 in 20k.
