The dismissal with feeling a certain vibe is off to me. I understand people pushing back on accusations made against (frankly it's what I'm hoping for in order to get a better read on them that either negates or enhance the prior read) but it's one that is less based on counteracting points made. So it strikes me more on the anti-town side of things.
Though if you are getting that vibe, I'm not claiming to be an expert. But if I notice things, I'll mention what I'm seeing and my thoughts on the matter. Currently my thoughts have me seeing Dutch as a possible mafia so it's something I want to explore further. Getting the counterarguments is a fun thing and I look forward to seeing what others think on the matter. Learning what, and when, others' stances are is going to be interesting.

While I had mentioned in the recruitment thread I was going to be busy and initially wasn't looking to join at this time (next week in particular will have a nice stretch I'm not planning on logging on to BBD for anything more than a brief check and especially not intended to write longer posts on a phone) Moon had the idea of having Kobold and I share a slot.
So think of us as a quasi-lover. We're one town-member that shares the same role and vote just under two players.

You know, saying this is going to be fun might not mean he got mafia specifically. It probably just means he has a role that is interesting, and he's probably not a townsfolk. For all we know, he could be jester, mafia, cop, really any role with a special ability, the more 'interesting' it is, the more of a chance he's that role.

It's not like a mafia person is going go, "Hey, guys, you know what? I'm actually mafia." Their whole goal is to stay under the radar. By default, it's assumed everyone is claiming to be a townie. So it feels almost like you're trying to pre-empt accusations in a way.

I believe it was because both of them said they could join but only play at certain times, so Moon just decided one could be a standby for the other
