I confess it's a shame, When you livin' in a city that's the size of a box and nobody knows yo' name
That said I feel like a chat-stylized novel could be interesting. Make use of the various writing conventions that have sprawled up. Have your greentext chapter,
> be me > Frodo, a hobbit > short person with hairy feet > (fml) > tall dude shows up to my house > bunch of roudy dwarves follow him > wrecking my neat and tidy table > they start singing > wtf.gif > etc...
Or using other various things text allows that would be awkward for vocal or visual mediums.

Text also has some nice ways to show additional things about a person.
For example using different spellings. Let's say you've got a British character. You could announce who's speaking without saying who it is just by using "centre" or something.
Can further reflect a character's religious beliefs. Perhaps a Jewish character would talk about G-d while a Christian character speaks of God.
Lot of possibilities. And now I'm remembering variations of circle-poems where the text forms a full circle that's coherent.

Perhaps. Been a while since I looked at any official terminology.
Thinking about how I generally don't see internet-conventions in written text aside from forums/etc. And then other forms that could follow the same kind of stuff.

I never really got poetry. Too flowery for my tastes.
But I'm glad you like. Any style in particular you like doing?

i used to hate poetry but now i find it really interesting
for a while I did a lot of like paragraph poetry stuff -- I would use a lot of metaphors but organize my lines like it was a speech. I'm starting to move more into slam poetry though, it's really fun. does song writing count as poetry? i do a lot of that

Songs need a rhythm to them so I'd say it counts as poetry. Heck a lot of songs comes from poems.
i think i just really like metaphors and analogies
i literally can't go a day without making up some wild analogy that doesn't make sense but at the same time kinda does but in the end is really just a bunch of bs that im spurting to explain things that don't need explanations
