For MC: Find a nonmagical bomb or grenade that is of the perquisites for minor conjuration. Free fireballs. It states that as soon as it deals damage, it disappears. Once it does so, it has already dealt damage. I believe this works, but feel free to correct me on this.
Abuse a vial of alchemist's fire.
Use Catapultspell on the vial to launch it 90ft at a creature on a fail save it deals an extra d4 of damage on top of the spell damage and it takes a d4 worth of damage until it uses its action to extinguish the flame. Otherwise since its classified as a improvised weapon you can take the tavern brawler feat then you are proficient in throwing alchemist fire and other weird concoctions.
Have prep time, and then anger the tarrasque. Now, Tarrrasque can't harm you till the spell ends, and you can just stay inside.
Jim's Magic Missiles
Be a Kobold with pack tactics. Since Jim's Magic Missiles require an attack roll if you have an ally within 5ft of an enemy and its at night/indoors then you will get advantage on the attack rolls mitigating the chance of getting a nat 1 and increasing odds of getting a crit with higher damage.
Abuse Powerful Build race feature that Firbolg, Goliath, and Orc get.
I would like to note that Bugbears also get that feature :). As for abusing it, have a wizard cast reduce on a giant block of gold you're trying to steal, and since you're chonky, you can carry it with no problem. Not that good, I admit.
Hosted a battle between the Cult of Sedge and the Forum Countershere(Done now). I_Love_Tarrasques has won the fight, scoring a victory for the fiendish Moderators.

You can designated that temple you created as a location for a word of recall spell for the oh shit moment if you get too low on health or your plan fails. Also if its the BBEG and they are a certain type of creature then the temple can protect you/give you advantage if they pursue you.
Be a Paladin/Sorcerer multiclass. After taking your action you may not want to quicken a leveled spell to conserve resources. Instead you can quicken True Strike and next round if you maintained concentration you can get advantage to hopefully smite something into oblivion.
Cast Hold Person,then Telekinesis them into the area.
Abuse Eldritch Blast
Why Hold Person and Telekinesis. Both are concentration so Hold Person's benefit would disappear once telekinesis is cast unless you have multiple casters. But then you're using 2 2nd level spells and a 5th level spell for the damage of a 2nd level spell. Kind of Meh.
Abuse Light property. Be a rogue dual wielding a shortsword and dagger since both are light. You now have two chances to land sneak attack and with the dagger you have a ranged option if you need it. Example you are engaged with one enemy 1 who looks hurt. You have a squishy ally who is beside enemy 2 that also looks hurt and is about to go. Instead of taking out the guy in front of you. You can save your ally by throwing your dagger and hopefully taking out enemy 2 with sneak attack. If you miss you have a chance of hitting enemy 1 and taking it out with your sneak attack. In this situation you try to prioritize your ally and have two chances to deal major damage.
You can dual wield light weapons. (Hold Person, and stand within 5 feet of them. Race doesn't matter, but Aasimar can help with a bit of damage as well, not sure if anything is better than that) Halfling is good. Goblin helps.
Steel Defenders get Dodge Action for free every turn, unless the artificer chooses something else as a bonus action, making them, and everyone with 5 feet of them are impossible(difficult) to hit, and can't be sneak attacked.
