Gus channels his magic power into his staff, out of it comes three bolts of energy, two of them hit the slime on the left, the other hitting the right slime. The left slime takes 4 damage, while the right takes 3

(Whoops, forgot about the slimes turn)
Slime 2 (The one on the right, has taken 3 damage): Part of its body solidifies, then gets launched towards Steve. Attack roll: 12. The crystallized slime narrowly hits Steve, dealing (Edit: Dice broke a bit, it dealt 1d4 damage, rolled a 2) damage
Slime 1 (On the left, taken 7 damage, looking decently weak): Like the other slime it solidifies part of its body, then launches it at Gus. Attack roll 6. Gus manages to dodge out of the way of it just in time, preventing any damage he may have taken otherwise.
Edit: It is now Cedric’s turn, I'm counting the help action as happening right before actual combat.

(It should be 16, fighters get a +2 bonus to attacking, plus your str mod, that's +3 in total)
Cedric swings towards the slime on the right, he hits it easily, dealing 7 damage, he pierces through the slime, hitting the core and shattering it. The right slime melts into a puddle of lifeless goo.
(No more initiative, just one roll at the beginning of combat)
Right after Cedric slew the right slime, Steve followed it up with an equally powerful blow to the left slime, dealing 6 damage to straight to the gelatinous form’s core, shattering it into two roughly equal pieces. The rest of the slime melts into a puddle of motionless green goop on the ground.
End of combat! The party receives 20 Exp each, and 10 SP to share!
Reminder for those who have forgotten: The only door in the room besides the one the party entered from is west from the center of the room.
Well, so long as we don’t face anything worse than green slime, I think we’ll be alright. Time to keep moving.
I sheathe my short sword, but not before wiping it clean of green gunk. Then, pausing to scan the barren room, I move to the door to the west, and give it a push.
As Cedric pushes open the door, he sees five pedestals on the other side, all in a pentagon like shape, each of them has an item floating above it, and a small slot below the item on the pedestal itself, there also seems to be a label above each slot, but all of you are too far away to see what, if anything, they say.
The items above the pedestals (As they appear) are:
Cedric examines the sword, he’s not an expert, but even he can tell that his own sword has seen better days, and that the sword above the pedestal has not seen much stress, if any

Checking the label, Cedric sees the words ”Wooden Sword, 10 Silver”
Arcana check: 6
Examining the staff, it seems that it doesn't have any special properties outside of that of a normal staff, like the one in Gus’s own hands, but it does seem to be a bit more powerful in general than the staff he is wielding.
Examining the labels of the different liquids, Steve sees the following: The red vial’s label says ”Minor Health Potion, 5 Silver”, the blue vial’s label says ”Minor Mana Potion, 5 Silver”, and the green vial’s label says ”Minor Experience Potion, 5 Silver”

Send help pleaseI’m starting to like this Gus fellow! He has some potent power after all!
“Good strike, Gus!” I yell, drawing my short sword and charging at the slime on the right, “keep me covered!”
I make a swing for the slime on the right 15
edit - Sorry accidentally did a plus 2, so that result should be 14
