For me my sudden-awake late at night brain tends to be worries. Oftentimes baseless ones too which is annoying. But if I'm tired enough in that wake/sleep state my brain'll get pretty random.

i’m thinking of how I could possibly stat out some sort of… something for some creature of inconceivable power like the lady of pain, despite the fact she doesn’t need a statblock because she doesn’t even have saves for any of her effects. in 3rd edition I think, it said there was a theory that Ao, Tharizdun, and the lady of pain were the three true overgods, one for each alignment. Ao is neutral good, lady of pain is true neutral, and Tharizdun is neutral evil.

Hmm… I think it could have something like the Marut for her attacks where she just hits, and she just does a certain amount of damage, and definitely stats above 30. Huge sized, and then a shadow of Pain trait that makes it so that you take damage if you are within 30 feet of her at the start of her turns, an at will power word pain spell, and then her main attack could be something like ‘flaying gaze,’ where it deals something like 100 slashing damage immediately, and it creates a wound similar to a horned devil.
