This is an idea I had for a Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure dnd campaign. No prior knowledge of the anime or manga is required, and any questions you have will be answered to the best of my ability. This will be a PBP in pms, and if you want to see the module I plan on using, Here it is. I already have one player locked down, and I’m looking for 2-3 more.
The premise goes like this: The year is 2017, and the city of New Orleans has always been one for crime, especially those of the violent variety. But in recent years, they’ve changed. Becoming more sinister and unnatural. Some have started linking it to voodoo magic, be it ghosts or Gris Gris. Whatever reason you were there, you felt the need to do something about, because the police surely won’t. Your search for a way to bring the criminals of New Orleans led you to a shop. From what it seems, it’s a combination oddity shop and house, on the larger side. According to a flyer you found, here you could help the people, punish the criminals and be rewarded for your actions and you just felt the need to come, as if some other force was driving you. As you push open the door with the jingle of a bell, you see a well built African American man standing behind the counter, maybe 40-50 years old. After you introduced yourself, he took you to the back, where there was two chairs and a table. He told you to take a seat and make yourself comfortable. After leaving for a bit, he returns with three items. An arrow with a golden arrowhead, incredibly ornate. A polished sphere about the size of a baseball, grooved on opposite faces by two large hexagons, almost joined by lines crossing the balls between their corners. And finally, a glass filled with wine. He tells you to do one of 3 things. 1. Prick yourself with the arrow. 2. Spin the ball on your palm. 3. Turn the wine glass upside down. After making your choice and gaining a supernatural power, you then meet the other test takers(the other player), who came here for the same reason. This is the team that will protect this city
