What genre is clarinet really used for besides classical?
(Please don’t hate me if clarinet isn’t in classical music, I really don’t know what all the instruments are especially when it comes to wood winds and the brass stuff)
Clarinet can be used in almost any genre of music. I should know, I'm a band kid who's had to listen to those SQUEAKY A** CREATIONS FROM HELL multiple times throughout many different types of music.

I used to be a percussionist before I had to drop band this year 'cause I was gettin' too busy. I'm plannin' on joinin' back next year if I can though.
