Sometimes I wonder how brainrotted everyone on DDB is, like what if we’re all brainrotted but none of use have used it cause we’re to focused on not seeming stupid
I don’t like brainrot, would I consider myself not stupid? yes and no
I'm not brainrotted, I'm so glad I didn't have to go through middle-school at a time like this.
I think In a lot of ways homeschooling has saved me from that kind of thing, and bad influences in general. I tend to find that (in general) homeschooled teenagers I meet are far more well meaning and kind then school children. I just hear these nuts things that is just common gossip at schools and I’m like, “what the hell” frankly having to deal with people like that sounds like a nightmare. There is also the flip side of that though, which is less social exposure. (also, those of you who go to school, don’t be offended, you’re cool. Nerds always get a pass. And not all schools suck) homeschooling is such an interesting topic, but I guess I just think that because I’m involved in it
Yeah, most homeschooled kids I've met have been well-meaning. In my school we get the stereotypical Hollywood jocks, and one of my friends (Like as soon as they got to school, before they were friends with me), was friends with them, but then he found out they were homophobic @$$h01e$ and then yeah no longer friends. He's bi. And like 6' or smth.
While the sun is out, the spear functions as a +1 weapon.
When the moon is out, the spear is considered silvered and adds a +3 to attack rolls and damage. Any creature with lycanthropy who can see you must make a Wisdom Saving Throw equal to 10+your wisdom+your proficiency bonus. If they fail, they are charmed by you until the sun rises. As an action, you can cast Moonbeam at 9th level twice per long rest. Once per long rest, you may also use an action to summon either 2d6 Wolves or 2d4 Dire Wolves who will follow your every command. If not given one, they will attack the nearest enemy. They disappear once the sun rises.

Frogfish. I’d rather be something that has been allowed to exist rather than a hybrid.
So you choose nature? The creation of God over the conception of man? Do you think yourself a pure being for this answer? Laughable. There are near-infinite combinations of fish and frog on this earth, and surely any number of them are superior to your choice. Nearly everything we encounter on a daily basis has been altered by mankind to the point of unrecognizability. We don't understand what we haven't created. Our ability to create was given to us by God, so is it blasphemy to forsake it? Or are some things meant to be outside our area of control? We already control the forces of death, so wouldn't it be better to control the forces of life? Better to create than to destroy? Are you saying we should never create, never advance, never express ourselves if it doesn't fit the tiny sliver of human experience we've deemed normal? If so, how do we know if "normal" is something real, something natural, or something we've also made up? We've been conditioned so much, changed so much over the generations, how can we know what is really the work of God and what is a lie made up by people with ulterior motives? Even the Bible itself has had numerous translations made in bad faith to promote political agendas.
I have gestated this question in my mind a thousand times, and never once have I found an appropriate answer. I fear there may not be one.
But I lean slightly toward your answer, all things taken into consideration.

Just because we can do something (I.e manipulate the form of a living organism) doesn’t mean we should. Who are we to create without taking into consideration the effects of which a creature’s existence may have on its life and others. Meaningless creation, making for nothing more than the sake of making is no better than destruction

I struggle with empathy. If you’re not sure what I mean by that, it basically means it’s hard for me to understand the mental state of others and respond with the right emotions

Yeah, unfortunately I live in a primarily republican state. It's quite the pain, I go to protests and rallies, but its still hard sometimes.
