Yeah sort of. That sounds like the sort he needs. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever owned a croc in my life.
I recommend 'em.
I got my first pair in ~2012 or so I think. And they're convenient.
I'll keep them in mind then. I have been wearing a brand called Altras for the last few years and they are fantastic. They got wide toe boxes and flat bottoms so I might as well be walking bare foot and the ones I get are meant for trail running so they are pretty practical.
Never heard of that brand. Is it a UK-thing / hiking thing?
It's not a UK thing, I first found and wore them in America, but it is a bit of a hiking/running thing I think.

Makes sense then.
I know there's like Merrel and Vibram for hiking stuff, but I've generally not looked those.
Might check out the Atlas looks like. Sounds neat.

I think I've used Merrel too. I generally get a few nice hiking things because they are practical and durable and then I make them my everyday gear. They are functional and last longer and I am not one to care about fashion.

Fair. For me I've generally gone with ASICs myself.
Drum Drum was also very active in this thread before. But that's declined since.
...this is oddly likely to be how it seems with me, since I'm moving.
Hmm...
What's the reason you're moving anyways?
My dad got a better job position, but it's a little farther away (also, yes, I'm legally an adult but still live with my parents; I know that might seem weird).
It's fairly normal these days, particular if you're the younger side of being an adult.
For moving a little farther away, still in the same general area?

Mostly, yes, but a kind of... how to put this... 'higher-class' neighborhood, I guess? (Right now we're basically in the slums)
