One of the members of my current party is obsessed with collecting as much acid and venom as they possibly can.

The madman even has a cockatrice locked up in the base so that he can use it later.

 Cool character...  a little crazy sounding but still very cool! What class/subclass are they playing?

I think he off started in Artificer, but his build has gone off the rails since then.

He's basically a psionic biomancer warforged who may also somehow be part mind flayer.

He has a crystal pseudodragon familiar (he does not seem to have any warlock levels) and a snarky Docent that he got as a birthday present.

He has a daughter. She's another warforged that resembles an otterfolk in a sweater vest. She's the party rogue.

His whole character is so bizarre that I don't think I can deduce what on earth he is. And he's level 5.

Since I don't see getting a better chance to post this:

I want the Legendary bundle and the Master subscription but don't trust Wizards of the Coast with my financial information.

Why not? They're in the business of selling products. So misusing financial information, a big deterrent to people wanting to buy the products they sell, would be a bad move on their part. 

That said: maybe try getting a reloadable debit card you dedicate to DnDBeyond purchases and subscriptions?

So while doing a little one-on-one DMing with a friend, ran into this kind of scenario

Me: So the NPC you're interacting tells you about a dryad that might be involved with the map you're looking for and gives you a location.
Friend: Alright I'll go that way.
Me: You arrive at the location. There's a big tree (obviously the dryad's tree) dominating the clearing with smaller ones around.
Friend: I have your Aarokocra* fly up on top of the tree and see if there's anything nearby
Me: (um, so you're not going to realize the tree is the dryad's tree?) describes what's near
Friend: I ask the NPC I'm with if he knows anything about the area
Me: The guy says he doesn't know much as he just got to the village recently, but he does know dryads are tree spirits (maybe you just didn't know that dryads are tree spirits and this'll clue you in?)
Friend: I look around for hiding places that could hold a map
Me: Okay... You find some fallen branches, some rocks, etc. (come on, man, go to the tree)
Friend: I investigate the rocks
Me: You're not really seeing anything. But as you're doing this a woman walks out of the tree (surely you have notice this)
Friend: (this is normal) Hey, lady, yeah I'm just doing a geology survey...
Me: *dying inside*

*I'm NPCing the PC I have in the campaign while taking on the DM role for now, planning that he'll be controlled by the players

 I have over 20 uses of poison (with a bow) for my lvl 7 rouge. I collect poison from EVERYTHING.

Becom grung, get infinite poison

I can try. But I almost forgot the lemon in lemon chicken so my help might be the most useful.
