Do you think so? Right now we have:
nearly undetectable fey that guard and control people’s dreams, crystallizing them and planting them to create even more of them. They can read minds, enter dreams, and without them, people don’t have natural dreams.
I’ll be making the statblock tomorrow cuz I’m lazy and don’t wanna do it today.
:) That's okay, it always ends up being a lot. Ideas are great but there's so much nitpicky stuff that goes with it.
They could drop dream sand (like pixies supposedly drop pixie dust) that can be a useable wondrous item for something.

Maybe it could be used to ward off evil creatures? Or maybe it can be made into a dream catcher that gives a bonus to the effects of a long rest, like temp hp, removing 2 exhaustion instead of 1, and creatures can’t influence your dreams unless they allow them to.
