Hollow unbreakable arrows are the most OP common magic item, and my current method of coming up with insane combat shenanigans.
if you make a steel pipe with one end closed and a nozzle on the other, you can enlarge it, fill with any liquid, and then drop concentration, creating a high pressure squirt gun. (or a pipe bomb, depending if it holds)
i haven't posted one recently, but I had a magic item idea: moldable steel
it would feel like clay, and can be shaped into anything until a command word is spoken or at will if you are attuned to it. (not fully fleshed out)
it could have tons of uses, like lock picking, perfect fitting manacles, repairs, and so many more.

Hello. I like pondering. I saw this by chance and even though I don't usually post on this thread, you said anyone who sees it has to try to answer so...
On the question of human nature, I guess it depends on how you change it. I mean, I was sort of imagining some mass brainwashing campaign or genetic modification that would result in a lack of free will. Human nature isn't great, but I think realistically, if another human had the power to change it, they would choose to change it for the worse and subject others to this.

What you are saying is that you thought of the question as taking away freewill? I guess we were just thinking of different things.
I guess so. Or, if all humans were made good and only did what was right with no self-preservation, life would be miserable and short as all unnecessary pleasure would be removed in order for us to focus on the bigger issues, and we would only be able to live with either no negative impact on the world, or be consumed by guilt. Maybe a morally better world, but should one bring this hypothetical dark utopia about? That depends

I guess if God changed human nature for the better, that would be a good thing, but if a human or AI tried to, then that almost definitely wouldn't
