Modern day Character idea: Bard/monk with AirPods as their arcane focus. Outside of combat, they are timid in public, but are very charismatic when in a small group. In combat, their attacks and spellcasting are flavored as they are dancing to music from their AirPods. Primary stats would be Cha, Dex, and Con. What do you think?

So I have this character whose a plasmoid, and his class is a homebrew one. It's like a bunch of teleportation mixed with rogue. And his thing is that he has this big speaker/radio in his body, cuz he's made of ooze, and he just blasts music while he goes crazy in combat
That’s sick! One time I created a green dragon NPC who had speakers attached under his wings and blasted metal music when he flew into combat.

Musical dragon and musical Plasmoid. Epic. I’d like to know why everybody keeps saying my idea is cool. It’s just a spur of the moment idea.
I like the idea of a bard/monk combo and the AirPods make him perfect for a modern urban campaign.
I love flavored attacks and spells in general, and a monk/bard fella that is quiet but suddenly becomes a total beast on the battlefield when they play music sounds so fun to me
I have no clue why but an AirPod bard makes me laugh so much

Why AirPods though? Wouldn’t it be easier to curse a simple pair of headphones. I’m fairly certain more people use simple headphones than AirPods.
