Any ideas for a Kenku character? Class, names, backgrounds, looks/reflavors, alignment all that stuff. Btw, not a bard please I have six bard characters for every one non-bard character, I'd like to differentiate, also I only have basic rules and baldur's gate gazetteer, so no backgrounds outside of that and sadly no artificer. I might combine my fav answers into one character.
Is this from something or did you just create it, cause it's not a bad idea. Just not really anything special. I may incorporate the name, that's a good name.
Ooo, I love a Kenku warlock. Any sub will work, but if you can get your hands on it, the hexblade is great for this kinda stuff, especially flavour wise. There’s plenty of good art around for that kinda thing too. Go true neutral or lawful neutral, and maybe the spy, soldier or acolyte background? This is just a rough idea, I can help more if needed. And obviously it needs to be combined with other people’s thoughts too. As for a name, I really like the one Woods suggested.

A kenku thief that snuck into a paladin's palace and watched as new paladins swore the oath to be in the order. He mimicked the oath and suddenly received a vision from the god the order served. Seeing the god, he decided that becoming a paladin would give him a purpose above the self-serving life of a thief. Now he roams about as a paladin and protects the weak and guards those who suffer.
A kenku swarmkeeper that has a swarm of ravens that he calls his brothers. They serve the Raven Queen, collecting odd trinkets like a magpie and obeying her strange commands.
A kenku monk that joined the monastery in the hope of achieving enlightenment and gaining wings. So far, he hasn't received any wings but the resistance to fall damage means that he can jump off tall buildings and flap his arms wildly in an attempt to take to the skies.

I really like D&D, especially Ravenloft, Exandria and the Upside Down from Stranger Things. My pronouns are she/they (genderfae).
I'm done. I now have Shoji, the Priest of the Raven Queen. He started The First Church of the Ravens. He's a Chaotic Good Kenku Warlock. He has the pact of the chain so he has a raven familiar. Thank you everyone for your contribution! His raven is named Edgar btw.
