Hey, Arch! My dad is gonna run a Ravenloft game for my birthday, and we're using a modified version of FATE's Aspect system in place of the regular character traits!
Basically, come up with a High Concept, a Conflict, and three short sentences to describe your character. These are your Aspects.
You start with 3 Inspiration each session. Whenever an Aspect causes you to take disadvantage, you gain Inspiration. You can use Inspiration only to gain advantage based on your Aspects, or to negate disadvantage (and thus the Inspiration gain) from your Aspects.
Cool! I know a bit about the fate system because of something you shared in a pm (it was about playing as cats) also that sounds awesome, hope it’s fun!
I’m currently doing some of my own worldbuilding to add to the already existing lore that I’m using for Oak, Road, and Stone.

Awesome!
I'm making a character that's basically like the Phantom of the Opera Laboratory, the Depraved Perfumers from Elden Ring, and a Plague Doctor: a deformed herbalist with a faint violent tendency. I even made him a magic item!

Cool! I love all the stuff pointy hat makes. My character in Flowerfield’s campaign is actually a way of the flesh monk.
also random question, what’s your character for Oak, Road, and Stone’s name? I know they have the whole backstory stuff with the deal and stuff, but I don’t know if you ever came up with a name or if I’m just forgetting.

No, but that might explain why he traded it away so readily.
lol.
I’m not good with names but I’ll try my best.
You've got plenty of time.
Yeah I guess so.
anyways what’s your favorite fey monster? I’m asking fey specifically because I’m pretty sure your favorite monster in general (the question I usually ask) is a star spawn emmisarry (I think? Is that what it’s called? I think its from van richten’s but it might be from Mordenkainens)

It's a module for DnD. Wild Beyond the Witchlight. It is pretty fun, but it's pretty DM-dependent.
