It starts with the adventurers escorting a noble. They encounter Bandits, Kobolds, all the normal highway robbery type stuff and deal with them easily. But then the fourth night begins. As the full moon rises high in the sky, howls can be heard from outside the carriage. Werewolves(or weretigers, werebears, just were-somethings) attack, infecting the party with lycanthropy and killing the noble they were escorting. They would inevitably try and find help in nearby towns and villages, but all would refuse, afraid of the horrible curse upon them. They would eventually encounter The Lycan Hunter, (someone who may be a player, a player i hope to have expressed interest in a blood hunter, had this idea right after) a person cursed with lycanthropy himself, he tells the party of how he deals with the curse. A dark Archfey, exchanging remedies to people's curses for favors. They go through more encounters, try and find a fey crossing, bla bla bla... they eventually make it to the fey noble, and he offers them a remedy. Not a cure, it only suppresses the effects. They do the favors, full moons happen occasionally, they kill a ton of people on accident, the whole werebeast spiel. The fey is secretly using the potions they drink to take control of them on full moons, and using them for his own means. Eventually they find out and kill him, but they still need a cure. The quest for a cure then continues...
That's all I have right now sorry it's so long lol

Sounds cool, though there is the chance that they succeed their saves, and the whole "entire party is lycanthrope" thing doesn't work.

Sounds neat. I created a little area just in case my party ever succumbs to lycanthropy. It is a huge information dump and it's probably poorly written, but maybe it could be of use. Here it is.

Yeah, it would probably be more of a kinda cutscene type thing than a combat encounter

Worth noting that my Tavernpedia likely won’t have the same level of detail as Jack’s. This is partially because there are some characters that I don’t have a lot of info to go on (eg. Giant Frosty Gym Rat) and I’m just lazy. So, uh yeah.
On the plus side, it’s pretty much done. So now we wait for page 100!

It's a sentient magic item, a spell book to be precise. However, at first you don't know it's sentient. It would work like a normal spell book, probably a wizard picks it up, and it works normally. But eventually, probably around the climax of the campaign, the wizard learns a new spell, but the incantation isn't the one for that spell-- it's the incantation to release whatever is in the book. =)

But, it only applies for characters from older taverns. So it’s sadly out-of-date now.
