I'm usually energetic but extremely anxious and tongue tied when I have to talk to people in person

Not sure how to explain this adequately, but you have a style like an old folk tale.
You don't give a damn if your characters have any sort of shorthand tied to them, and you don't care if they "make sense." You are defining the lore, not sworn and beholden to it. It doesn't need to be taken seriously, and it certainly isn't there to please others. When you do base it off of existing lore, you research it thoroughly.
I love your RP style, and I think it at least partially inspired my own.
