Ugh, does anyone know some good campaigns that would be good for someone just startin' out? My group ain't ever gonna get around to schedulin' a campaign session so I guess I should look for somewhere to play on here.

Well right now I see a Vecna Eye of Evil recruitment. Just kind of keep looking at the recruitment tag in the PbP forum. Some times are more plentiful than others.
And also be prepared for them to end. It can be hit-or-miss if a pbp even starts. Right now I think I've gotten lucky with some that'll go for a while. But other times you get some stuff and then it dies.
I could also see about running a 1-shot like Lightning Keep for some of you guys. Wouldn't be a long adventure by any means, but a way to get some PBP.

They're standard characters. Not even rolling for stats, just using standard array and point-buy. For the most part PHB stuff too. :)

Well I joind DDB so I could start DND but never really got around to it lol. Then I discovered the forums and y'all :D . But the reason I'm drawn to Pathfinder over DND is because I'm currently listening to a podcast where they play Pathfinder, and I've looked at the character creation (not much else) and it definitely has more options, or at least more free options. Honestly if I want to really do anything I want in DDB, I'll have to pay a bunch of money, whereas Pathfinder can be free. At least I'm pretty sure it can be. There are also some in-game mechanics that just sound better, like three actions, and you gain a new feat every time you level up, and the like. They also have more varied classes I believe and there's even a Gunslinger class, whereas in DND (as far as I know, I might just have to buy something to get it) there isn't one of those.
True. I've heard the Paizo character creator has all the rules for free and that what you'd need to pay for is their Adventure Paths. And a lot of people really like PF2e so if you've got the desire to try it go for it.
For running an adventure, read through the basics of Lightning Keep. This is the hook.
A marauding dragon has laid waste to numerous villages, devouring some residents while displacing others. It strikes without mercy. No one knows where it came from, where it lairs, or how long it intends to terrorize the realm.
But there is hope. Long ago, a werewolf knight of great valor used her wealth to raise a bastion at the edge of the wilderness. This castle had the power to generate a lightning shield around itself—a shield powerful enough to break sieges and keep monsters at bay. The castle was abandoned shortly after the knight passed away. By then, peace had settled across the land, making the stronghold unnecessary.
Villagers displaced by the dragon ask you to travel to Lightning Keep and rid it of any threats. Rumor has it the lightning shield is powered by six magical lightning rods. If you can find these rods, perhaps the lightning shield could be reactivated, allowing refugees fleeing the dragon to use the keep as a sanctuary.
Seems to be a nice little dungeon crawl. Some combat. Some exploration and searching for things. Meant for 4-6 lv3 characters.
