So how are cicadas by you guys? I decided to take a look around last night and learned they love my porch. Bunch of them there. Even saw a few coming out of their nymph stage. Was neat to see albino cicadas since I guess it takes some time for the pigment to come in.
And there's crazy numbers of them in various spots. Saw a small yucca plant with like ten cicadas on it. And it was surrounded by more bushes with a bunch.
Also on the cidada topic we don't have them. We have dragonflies and paperwasps and crickets. SO MANY CRICKETS

Normal ones, at least in my area, are camo-green so they blend in.
But 17-years are so numerous it'd pretty impossible to miss them if you've got them. I can get next to a bush with 10 of them and they don't even fly away.
