It’s called rainworld. Basically it’s an ecosystem evolving to adapt in the ruins of an ancient civilization that made these giant computers with a side effect of making rain a lot and hard enough to kill any living thing caught in the storm. And you’re at the bottom of the food chain.
i’m gonna make the main predators of the ecosystem, the lizards. All 13 different variants.

Sounds like a fun setting. Would you have rain making an effect on combat a common occurrence? Like limiting bow range or things like that? Not being familiar with the setting, what are the various variants of lizards?
Yeah in the game the rain comes every like ten minutes, and it’s gonna impact the combat heavily. Limiting ranged attacks, making movement harder, and also making creatures flee. The main part about the rain is that it eventually gets strong enough to kill everything that doesn’t hide in one of the many shelters the extinct ancient society left behind. Basically once it starts raining you have a certain amount of time, maybe a few minutes, to find shelters.
the basic lizard, the pink lizard, is a fast an maneuverable predator that can climb poles and are very territorial.
green lizards are a bit bigger than pink lizards, can’t climb, and can charge forwards to catch prey.
blue lizards are the smallest lizards, and are like pink lizards in every way except they have less health, have a short range grappling tongue, and can climb on the background (for the statblocks I’m giving them spider climb)
black lizards are blind, live in dark areas, and live in giant groups. They have great hearing and the slightest sound can alert them to their location. They aren’t very fast, but there’s usually so many of them it doesn’t matter and one will catch you eventually.
orange lizards live in organized packs and use their antennae to communicate and hunt food together. The alpha, the one with the longest antennae, can be killed to stop their telepathy.
white lizards are like blue lizards but bigger, with more health, camouflage, and a tongue thats around ten times longer. They are also one of the fastest lizards.
the cyan lizard is like the pink lizard but they can create small explosions to launch themselves forward.
Red lizards are like green lizards but bigger, can climb poles, and can shoot a sticky substance to immobilize prey or knock them down.
strawberry lizards are as small as blue lizards but have tongues as long as white lizards that they use like a grappling hook. They weigh the least out of all lizards.
salamanders are like pink lizards but amphibious.
eel lizards are like salamanders but longer, lacking their back legs, and are much faster in water but very slow on land.
caramel lizards are giant, bigger than reds, have an extra pair of legs, and can charge like green lizards but spit like a red.
train lizards are extremely long, and are realllly fast. They have a stronger bite than a red, are faster than whites, and are pretty much just extremely unfair. They only appear in a single place in the entire game.
