These days, AI can do some pretty amazing things. But bad AI just hit different, y’know? Everything you get out for something like ChatGPT is vanilla and bland, and this stuff was anything but.

It's an AI, so it doesn't think. It can't know that it's wrong, as it runs on binary, a series of 1s and 0s. To ChatGPT, everything is real or not, and it takes all of its information as a fact.
And AI was never weird, it just had less reasoning ability.

"Oh no. A child made of corn. Oh no. An afraidly Cougar. Oh no. A guy named Jason. Oh no. A vampire doing an interview."
So yeah, it's not weird to that old AI but the final product is weird when perceived by humans who have far more reasoning ability then it.

I know, I know. It summarizes what it‘s been taught from millions of complied texts dredged up online, much of it incorrect, and it’s not really sentient or even close to it. I just meant it comes off that way. My bad.
