well as a Christian I think humans are inherently sinful and that communism would definitely work if we were perfect, but since we aren't it doesn't. that's just my view. but I think most people can see that with communism if people get equal amounts of food and such, some people will slack off and still get the reward, and it makes it harder for the people still working. I mean the pilgrims tried communism and it didn't work

All government systems are imperfect because we're building with broken tools. There is no perfect or even great solution. So far, what we've had in America has worked pretty well, but it will fall apart eventually. It really comes down to picking the least worst option, and when you look throughout history you can see that Communism has had some pretty major failings.
