I’m thinking of starting a nightmare themed tavern. The innkeeper is a gargoyle who brews dreams into drinks. Feral werewolves claw at their mugs, a fiery demon caresses his blazing hellhound. We have high quality flame retardant stalls outside, and rest assured, your mount will be taken care of (Nightmare? Skeleton Horse?). We also have a selection of luxurious rooms and suites, and room service comes with the purchase of the VIP card (for a reasonable 5 gold). We accept all character types here: hellhounds, demons, werewolves, zombies, cosmic/eldritch entities and aliens, dreamwalkers, necromancers and dark sorcerers, the resurrected, the drowned, just to name a few.
Hows that selling? Any thoughts? It’s a work in progress, I’ll definitely want some suggestions and may be accepting a mod.

Nobody knows what the world was like before, but nobody's gonna shovel away all of the snow and ice just to find out. All attempts to destroy the Hearts of Frost are futile. The closer you get to either one, the more cold it is, meaning even the most adapted beings are popsicles before being able to even get that good a look at it. Because of this, the Equator is still deemed the hottest spot on Earth, and while it's still pretty chilly, people (and sometimes monsters) fight over land in it. Oh, did I mention the monsters? There's a ton that survived the world freezing over that now live today, especially already adapted monsters such as white dragons and yetis. Luckily, some animals survived as well, meaning the people don't have to hunt down an entire just for supper. The people of the world are split up into different tribes, each with different beliefs on dealing with monsters (train them? Hunt them? Etc), dealing with the temperature drop (embrace the cold and become ice mages? Aggressively pillage the warmest spots to try to survive?), and obviously various cultures and such.
The tavern itself is set in some land on the Equator. It's an inn, trading hub, and tavern that is somewhat protected from the cold. It's a dedicated place of peace, to get some rest at.

Unaware of frostpunk. My main thought process was: 'Taverns set in different biomes/temperatures. (Barnacle in Ocean or Button's in desert, for instance) What about a tundra/freezing cold thread?' but there 100% would be encounters outside of the tavern.
