I’ve never really been a fan of series that stretch on and on and on aimlessly, especially after there Hve been several generations of main characters. I can’t stay invested for that long. Except Jojo’s :P

100% agreed on both counts. Riordan has only a few good storylines amidst his vast spread of mediocrity, and Harry Potter was never good to begin with.

I’m currently designing a statblock based on a video game iteration of a certain religious figure: Baron Samedi. They’re like a sort of god of the dead and parties.
It is indeed very fun. On the Thread the Universe smorgasbord, my main character was also a god of both the dead and parties. I didn’t know about Baron Samedi at the time so I couldn’t take any inspiration from them but it’s still a weirdly cool combination.
