I saw some pretty neat news about One D&D. Apparently they're setting up a program where people that own a copy of the 2014 core books will be able to get a discounted price on the new books. (Great article about it here) Seems a bit complicated, but I'm guessing they've run the numbers and figure they'll get more from people that are already invested in 5e than trying to get a new crowd invested. Really looking forward to it.

Alright, now that I’ve finally finished Scylla, time to move onto her teammate, Charybdis!
it’ll be the same CR but will be slower and have more health, but it will act more as a siege monster as unlike most monsters, there is no limit to what creatures she can swallow.
her mouth just gets bigger.
so she is going to be able to swallow several ships at once, but will be unable to leave the water or seafloor (one of those two, the trait will be called Abyssal Chain) and so she will be forced to either stay where she is or try and chase you from the bottom of the sea.

Happy All Fool’s Day! Has anyone done or are you planning on doing anything particularly foolish or tricky today?
I for one have been pranked pretty spectacularly. A buddy of mine has printed out a bunch of pictures of me with the caption, “This man needs a hug!” and he left them throughout the campus of our college.
Jokes on him though, I drastically changed my appearance for April Fool’s day. I got my sister to braid my long hair which has rarely been done and I am wearing the dorkiest clothing I have to appear extra foolish today. Huge cargo capris, an I Want To Believe X-files t-shirt, and my chunkiest hiking shoes.
