Too big of a toe box for you?
Not exactly, but that could be one thing. Its just, putting your feet on Plastic, Shoes are supposed to be comfortable.
Also, my feet are pretty big so the toe box probably wouldnt be a problem (Im pretty much a hobbit, minus the hair. Footwise)
But they're just.. odd compared to the rest of out fits. Its like if you saw someone wearing snow pants and a tank top (kinda, thats an extreme example)
With the first issue do you just not wear socks?

In general you don't. It's like socks in sandals. But if you're using long pants amd like colored socks it could mitigate that.
Plus most people aren't going to care anywyas.
