I have a deep and visceral hatred for Converse to be honest. And Vans to a lesser degree. There's some colors I can tolerate, but in general I dislike them.

Not exactly, but that could be one thing. Its just, putting your feet on Plastic, Shoes are supposed to be comfortable.
Also, my feet are pretty big so the toe box probably wouldnt be a problem (Im pretty much a hobbit, minus the hair. Footwise)
But they're just.. odd compared to the rest of out fits. Its like if you saw someone wearing snow pants and a tank top (kinda, thats an extreme example)
