From the quick reading, not sure on the race. Dragonborn for breath weapon. V-H for getting Athlete feat for better jumping. Tiefling for demon and winged tiefling potential.

Winged tiefling would be neat. Rogue is the most obvious class choice, but sorcerer might be a viable alternative.
I remember in Grim hollow theres a monster called a Spring Heeled Horror, which is like a jester sort of Jack in the box puppet creature with a fifty foot reaching attack and the ability to leap long distances around the battlefield.

Is it too evil to lower the difficulty of the encounter by increasing the number of monsters but then adding a bunch of civilian NPCs where the monsters are focusing on killing the NPCs, reducing the number of them fighting the party at any one time?

I'm kind of liking this. Hoping the session will be the lead-up and tension-builder before the final dungeon for this stretch of the campaign (friend will take over for DMing the next leg since he's got some ideas.) Hoping it adds a bit of motivation for them to really sock it to The Mistress. They've fought her minions. They've heard of her. (One of them wants to date her, but that's a whole thing...) And this'll also help me get a gauge and how well they fight to hopefully tweak that final dungeon if needs be.

Probably the fairy race. Either that or go with something like an elf if you want her to be tall.

Feel charisma is a good casting stat. So narrows class to warlock or sorcerer. And then down to sorcerer so we have Wish.
Divine Soul? Since she's portrayed rather nicely?
Pact of the Genie Warlock gets Wish too.

Mm yeah that all works pretty good actually. I was thinking about level but I think it would just be easy if I went with level 20, since the Lowest I could go is 17 anyways.
