To be fair, if I remember correctly they are trying to introduce the game to kids. And the Blob was one of the more hyped up monsters. So I can imagine a kid being like, "Mom/Dad/Other, what's this word?" And then the parents come over and see it on a page with a blob with a god's skull inside, lol.
