Na, fireball the carpets (except for the one with the pc on)
You lob a fireball at the cluster of carpets which are converging over Crilgor as they ascend, catching 5 of them in the blast. Rolls for the carpets:
Carpet 1: 14 This carpet dodges the blast of the fireball, taking 19 damage Carpet 2: 5 This carpet is caught in the inferno, and takes 37 damage Carpet 3: 10 This carpet is caught in the inferno, and takes 19 damage Carpet 4: 13 This carpet is caught in the inferno, and takes 32 damage Carpet 5: 20 This carpet dodges the blast of the fireball, taking 17 damage
there's some weirdness in the dice rolls, I assure you I've not mucked about with them - it is saying that 11.5 is the result of 1d20+2... but anyway!
The 3 carpets in the middle of your blast are incinerated, falling as a rain of ash around Crilgor. The two at the edges of the fireball are blackened and charred by the blast, and whilst they seem to be affected, it isn't slowing them down.
There are now 9 carpets left above you, two of which are damaged.
Edit - I've just put the numbers for the dice back as they were, and learnt not to edit a post with dice rolls in! The results are as per the original dice rolls, at any rate! Next time I'll be using a new post to describe the effects!
Next in initiative is Crilgor, who is currently floating off on the only carpet that obeys commands, leaving everyone else on the floor!
I have some hostile carpets floating toward me, right? Or did the fireball take them out? If they're still coming, I use my breath weapon. So, DC... Let's say 12. 12 acid damage on a failed DEX save or half on a successful one.

You have 2 left converging 80ft. above you, between you and the door, and a further 3 moving towards that direction from slightly higher up, and then 4 converging on you from around, one of which is still on fire from where Jerry did Jerry things.
Dex saves for the 2 rugs your breath weapon would catch, the second of which is the one which is on fire; description of results will be in a follow-up post:
Your breath attack just clips two of the rugs. The closest to you has the tassels singed off of one side, and the one behind (which was on fire) is doused by the acid, shudders, and then starts to drift down towards the floor, dead.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Honestly it's not that in-depth as to need levels, though I appreciate it makes it much easier to work out combat! You're certainly not very high level!
Okay Thanks!

2 are directly above Crilgor, blocking his way to the door, 100ft. from the ground.
3 more are 120ft. from the ground, moving towards the 2 rugs above Crilgor
3 more surrounding the group; one missing a tassel from Crilgor's breath attack, the other 2 undamaged.

Breath weapons are actions as well, so you can't do both.
One of the rugs above Crilgor is hit by Dispel Magic; saving roll: 14
