Kay walks over to the coin and investigates the area looking for traps. If it is clear, she picks up the coin and places it in the pot beneath the dragon picture.
Investigation: 11
You don’t see any visible traps, and you pick up and place the coin in the pot. The first layer of metal retracts.
Harmony (who hopefully made it out of the last room :) will attempt to carry the stick to the goblin's pot. 'Is this right?' She asks the others. 'I agree about the coin for the dragon and the saddle for the griffin, although I think a saddle for a dragon would be fun. I'm not sure about this though.'
I agree, a saddle on a dragon would be fun!
Kay says, "I'm not sure, it is a rather large stick and goblins are small. So maybe its for the orc or cyclops?"
This is what i am thinking. I'm putting it as spoilers just in case everyone wants to make guesses of their own first.
Coin for Dragon
Saddle for Griffin
Large Stick for Cyclops
Club for Orc
Bottle of Water for Goblin
Not quite sure on the last three but those are my guesses
"It's true, It even makes you start thinking in puzzles! I was just daydreaming about a really cool one you could make with a statue and a floor that tilts..."
A large half-orc has appeared with a greatsword on his back and looks around.
"Where are we now?"
Thoruk picks up the club and weighs it in his hand, before shrugging and dropping it into the pot by the Cyclops.
As soon as the club lands in the pot, your hand starts itching. You itch it, and it sets on fire. The club then disappears then reappears back where you found it.
Thoruk will inelegantly wave his hand around before shoving it in his mouth to put out the flames. Then he will stare thoughtfully at the last 3 items, the effect largely diminished by his hand still being in his mouth.
Imma go ahead and guess that you do because why wouldn’t you. You place the stick in the goblin pot, and the final layer of metal retracts, leaving the door exposed. Would you like an explanation for the answers?

Ok: The dragon and the coin was pretty obvious- dragons hoard gold, the Griffin was a little harder- you need an exotic saddle to ride a Griffin, the orc was very easy- orcs carry clubs, the goblin was quite hard- in dnd goblin bosses carry big sticks—usually with a possum skull on the end but I didn’t want to make it too easy, and finally the cyclops was hard, but easy if you know your Greek mythology- cyclopses are supposedly the children of Poseidon.
You are in a 40ft wide, 70ft long walled courtyard of what seems to be a palace, with two guards posted blocking you from the only visible door, the entrance to the palace. Lots of bushes and other shrubbery are scattered around, and patches of chest height grass is in a few spots. There is a sign next to you written in orcish.
You place the saddle in the pot, and the metal bar retracts into the wall.

"They don't... mwahaha... just kidding. But they really don't. Like ever."

Kay goes back over to the club, looks from it to Thoruck then to the orc painting. She picks it up then drops it into the pot under the orc.

Sure, that would be neat.

We did it! Harmony would love an answer explanation.
