I have a quick question. I am trying to make a centaur but I was wondering how magic shoes worked for a 4 legged character. If, for example, you were wearing both boots of speed and winged boots do I get the benefits of both?
Yeah, no Keds for centaurs unfortunately. (Gotta give up something for the speed, the charge attack, and those abs. Seriously, a centaur’s gotta have, what, at least an 18 pack…? Maybe a whole case?) But they got options like Horseshoes of a Zephyr instead, or the “of speed” that TexasDevin mentioned.
And I don’t see why they couldn’t make Horseshoes of Spider Climbing for you. It would likely be expensive, but it should be possible.

I would rule that centaurs can't wear shoes or boots.
Horseshoes, yes, but not humanoid shoes.
Horseshoes of speed

Magic equipment is supposed to change size to fit what wears them. It doesn't say they change to conform to weird anatomy though.
Up to DM. I am in the camp that says centaur count as a horse from the waist down. So saddles, horseshoes, etc.
I might give horseshoe variants of other items like Sposta said, but limited and 1 set = 4 shoes for sure.
If you really want those boots of speed for your centaur, your best option is to craft a set of horseshoe variants.
