I'm running Princes of the Apocalypse, and my players just wrested an undetonated Devastation Orb from some earth cultists. One of my players just asked, "What happens if we stick it in our Handy Haversack?"
. . . I mean, what does happen? I'm not sure how to rule on this one.
Thanks for the reply. Generally speaking, can things in extradimensional bags affect things outside the bag? Like, if alchemists fire or a necklace of fireballs went off in the bag, would the owner notice, or would it just destroy the bag?

I personally favor the: “when next they open the bag, they witness a pyrotechnics show, or the remnants of one” kinda thing. The bag should be fine. But inside, should be a war zone/disaster.

There is nothing RAW to guide what happens, but when it explodes it probably takes the haversack and all of its contents with it.
