Hey guys. Looking for some quick book suggestions. I'm a first time DM currently doing Lost Mine of Phandelver with my group, and I wanted a book or two to read to help me shape everything in my mind. I know that there's a lot of D&D books, and that their quality can vary quite wildly, so I was hoping someone could give me some recommendations to which books set along the Sword Coast would be the best to go for. Ideally ones that are available on Kindle.
Also, once we're finished with LMoP, we're most likely going to play either Princes of the Apocalypse or Storm King's Thunder - those are the two that appeal to me the most, and I'll give my players the choice between them. I'm not sure where either of those are set, but if it's somewhere different to LMoP, could I also get some suggestions for those settings, as well?
I will have to find which specific books, but some of the more recent (like last 6 years) books of drizzt by R.A. Salvatore cover events along the sword coast some of which are referenced in the Lost Mines. Specifically Thundertree and the eruption of Mt Hotenow, and some info about the Red Mages of Thay for the Old Owls Well. If you want to know about human orc relations then you could read through the Thousand orcs book and its trilogy.
I ca't really think of any specific books about the different factions presented in the module.

"Where words fail, swords prevail. Where blood is spilled, my cup is filled" -Cartaphilus
"I have found the answer to the meaning of life. You ask me what the answer is? You already know what the answer to life is. You fear it more than the strike of a viper, the ravages of disease, the ire of a lover. The answer is always death. But death is a gentle mistress with a sweet embrace, and you owe her a debt of restitution. Life is not a gift, it is a loan."

They're nearly 30 years old now, so refer to an older version of the Forgotten Realms, from previous editions (2nd edition AD&D) but the Avatar Series (originally the Avatar Trilogy, but there were 5 books in the end) was kinda cool at the time.
It may not be the best for the mines specifically, but if you want a lot of information on the Forgotten Realms, the 3rd edition campaign setting book gives you a run down on all of Faerun. It's like a more detailed Sword Coast Adventure's Guide. Also, I know DriveThruRPG has several of the old campaign settings as PDFs, so you might want to look there too.

Not really a novel but good try.
