Hey guys, I wanted to do this for fun, and to bring us together. I noticed a rift between us on the BLM discussion, and sometimes in other places. I want us to join together, and thank someone on here who helped you. Anything: rules, homebrew, characters etc.
I would like to thank sposta for all his help on the homebrew threads. I would like to thank all the guys/galls helping me make a class on the rune scribe thread. Finally, I would like to thank you guys for being part of this community. Thank you.
In my case, I wanted to create a Human wizard who was birthed in a foreign land instead of the Faerun lands. But, since I don't have too many info about the other islands and continents, how I could handle this.

Who are you thanking then? Sorry if I hadn't made it clear enough, but this is a 'Thank you' thread, not a help thread. (And sadly I don't know much about faerun. I've heard of Kara tur, that might be a good place. Sorry).

I would like to thank the D&D Comunity as a whole. In general, many lives are better because of D&D, including mine.
I would like to thank all of the Moderators and Staff of DDB for keeping the wheels turning on this website. The work you all do generally does not get the recognition it deserves. Special thanks go to Sedge, MellieDM, Stormknight, firehawk2324, Sorce, and GPyromania.
I would like to thank at least 98% of the DDB users that I have interacted with for making me think. Even Rav.
And I would like to thank all the users I can think of by name (in alphabetical order) who have specifically taught me so much about a great many things. (If I forget to list your name I apologize.) Thank you all.
I would like BrambleFootDruid and BumkinsMumpkins for helping me balance my homebrew Warlock of the Fallen subclass. I also want to thank everyone who posts helpful replies on the forums.

What can I have taught you! Oghma has chosen you to carry the knowledge of Dungeons and Dragons from editions lost to the Wizards that live by the coast. (You know most of the rules off by heart).

Well, for one thing, you taught me how much it has been appreciated that I helped out a little bit. Like I said to you before, I know some stuff and have spare time. I was just being helpful because people needed help and I needed something to do. I never imagined that it would be such a big deal to anyone that they would formally thank me like this.
Well, now you do! I have another person to thank: HardHenessy, over at his art thread, for making amazing artwork based on both people's suggestions and his own making. I love your work, keep it up! I would also like to thank all the others who have devoted their time to masterpieces for us. Sorry I don't know your names, but I still thank you.

I would like to thanks James Haeck, for creating amazing content, just for us. His work is so cool, and brings so many new ideas to the table. Thanks James.

I will like to chime in to thank the D&D Comunity as a whole. I believe we as dm’s, players, aspiring writers, future contributors are stronger because of this human network. Thank you for all your help over time.
Take care, be safe and I wish you a nat 20 in your future endeavors!
Thanks to BrambleFootDruid and 6thLyranGuard for supporting my homebrewed class -- Updates will be released soon :) All those who post to the forums, for showing me that I am not the only young nerd to spend hours reminicing about bad ideas, funny quotes, and cool character concepts.
Thanks to my friends and brother for letting me TPK them in Tomb of Horrors...
And, thanks to the late Gary Gygax who made this all possible.
Final thanks to James Haeck and the rest of the Waterdeep: Dragon Heist crew for slipping in some subtle LGBTQ+ NPCs in Dragon heist.
Actually final thanks to my aforementioned great friends, who introduced me to D&D supported me throughout my first campaign, even though it is on permanent hold cause of COVID
