I plan to awaken poisonous plants so when they hit or get hit they release a deadly toxin in the air or their blood. I will need to make a new character and she'll be Poison Ivy.

My party's monk just grew one of these in his pot of awakening officially giving every party member a pet. The wizards familiars, artificer's construct, and now a literal plant.

As the DM I look forward to tormenting the group with their children.

Lol, in a campaign I’m doing we might have this guy as a sidekick!!! Spell caster obviously, he will be running around on his little shrubby legs burning down cities with fireball.

My DM let me start with a common magic item for my druid, I chose a pot of awakening so I could have one of these.

“The Shrub has Awoken!”

Step one: die at level 2

Step two: make a Reborn artificer

Step three: pot of awakening spam for a few hundred thousand years before the campaign

Step four: take over the world

Perfect for a tree-hugger druid who wants a tree or shrub to hug them back.
